"Voyage d'un cryptosporidium" is a sound piece through which we adopt the point of view of a parasitic microbe to visit a farm located near Dromesnil in the Somme region of France.

It passes successively from room to room, starting with the cowshed, then by the milk tank room.Then it reaches the milking parlour by passing successively through the interior of the tank, slips into the milk pipe, before coming out by teat liners, to finally explore the rectum of a cow.

As it travels up the animal's gut to its throat, it visits four stomachs and a beating heart before being spit out by the beast. The microbe ends its journey in the barn among the straw, between the ultrasonic clacking of the metal gates. We hear the soft purr of a calf that will soon be awakened fom his dream by the farmer himself when he activates the different machines of his farm.

We advise you to grab a headset to immerse yourself in this 22-minute bacteriological journey.
